Our client, a major Australian Bank is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to drive business growth objectives across regional NSW. 

Overseeing the state of New South Wales, the role provides an opportunity for the right individual to influence the development and direction of a burgeoning brand name within both local and national marketplaces.

Although the new incumbent will be provided with the necessary support to develop a successful and cohesive team of Relationship Managers focussed on the Agricultural segment, success will be contingent upon his or her ability to drive sales growth and align with organisational strategy.

Due to the strong focus on market expansion and growth, it will be imperative that the successful incumbent has experience managing successful sales teams and posseses a complex understanding of commercial credit.

The ability to communicate with regional stakeholders and clients is also essential given that the Regional Manager will play a critical role in the establishment and growth of brand equity within a challenging market place.

The successful applicant will be a proven manager who is willing to lead from the front and take a hands-on approach to new business acquisition in the short to medium term. As such, an ability to coach, mentor and manage all facets of a commercial banking team both at an operational and strategic level is essential.

Applications are welcomed from Senior Relationship Managers who are seeking an opportunity that will facilitate career development and growth or an existing Regional Manager within the Commercial or SME segments.

Experience lending to Agricultural Businesses is not essential however is highly sought after. It is critical that the successful incumbent possesses a strong understanding of agriculture.
